2 Days Desert Tour From Agadir to Zagora

Day 1: From Agadir to Zagora Through the Atlas Mountains
Your journey begins early in the morning from Agadir. As you head east, you’ll travel through the majestic Anti-Atlas Mountains, offering dramatic views and unique rock formations. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming Berber villages and the scenic town of Taliouine, known for its saffron production. Shortly after, the route continues to Taznakht, famous for its handmade Berber carpets.
Eventually, you’ll reach the Draa Valley — Morocco’s longest river valley — filled with palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional villages. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you’ll ride a camel across the golden dunes and enjoy the magical desert sunset. Afterwards, you’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber camp under the starry desert sky, creating unforgettable memories.
Day 2: Return Journey to Agadir
After sunrise, enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast in the camp. Then, take in the peaceful desert morning before starting the return trip. Along the way, you’ll follow a different scenic route through the desert landscape, stopping for lunch and photo opportunities to capture the stunning views.

Itinerary
First day will start by pick up form your accommodation in Agadir then head it for visiting some Berber village in our way while leaving Agadir towards Zagora, via Taroudant Taliouine the capital of saffron and Taznakhet. Have a stop at Taliouine and discover the Saffron and local kind berbers. Then a lunch on the way of Tazenakhet with a delicious berber gastronomy.
Passing Through Darra Valley a long river which is formed by the confluence of the Dades River and Imini River. arriving to Zagora for the camel ride to reach the desert with a beautiful scenery of sunset to meet the staff of desert camp and spend the night stay in the desert with the instruments of Berber music.
The following day, you will have a departure from Zagora. We take you by camel to watch the sunrise, after a breakfast we drive back to Agadir passing through fascinating landscapes and amazing destinations passing through Agdz.
Arrive to Agdz which is a small town in the mid southern of Morocco, enjoy the Atlas Mountains views and discover the old Amazigh architectures with ancient Kasbahs. See also the Jbel Kissane, which is famous by its Tajine dish shape. As by the meaning of its name, Agdz means “resting place”, is well deserved name and it’s a place where you will have a small break for launch.
After having launch, head it to your accommodation in Agadir passing through Taznakhet. You can ask the driver to make stops if you need some old and charming carpets. Then we move to Taroudant, which is a small city the sous valley, this city is known as the “Grandmother of Marrakech” because it looks like a smaller Marrakech.
